Formální záležitosti

Nominace

Jestliže jste přesvědčeni, že některý obrázek nahraný na Commons má hodnotu, která by ho opravňovala k zařazení mezi nejlepší obrázky, potom ho prosím přidejte. Můžete navrhnout obrázek, jehož jste autorem, ale i obrázek od kohokoli jiného. Předtím, než obrázek nominujete, zkontrolujte, že je řádně popsán a opatřen správnou licencí.

1) zkopírujte název obrázku do tohoto pole, například: Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Váš obrázek.jpg. Potom klikněte na tlačítko "vytvořit novou nominaci".

2) postupujte podle pokynů na stránce

3) ručně vložite odkaz na vytvořenou stránku nahoru na Commons:Featured picture candidates/candidate list: klikněte zde, a přidejte následující řádek na začátek seznamu nominací: {{Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Váš obrázek.jpg}}

Hlasování

Prosím hlasujte použitím příslušného slova ve vaší řeči či použitím šablon uvedených níže:

Pro - Yes, Sim, Ja, Oui, Sí, Kyllä, 支持, Ano...
Proti - No, Não, Nein, Non, Ei, 反对, Ne...

Alternativně můžete použít šablony {{Oppose}}( Oppose) a {{Support}}( Support). Své sympatie k obrázku můžete vyjádřit pomocí šablony {{I love}}( Support) a svůj neutrální postoj pomocí šablony {{Neutral}}( Neutral).

Zkuste přidat pár slov o tom, proč se vám obrázek líbí nebo nelíbí, obzvláště pokud hlasujete proti.

Pravidla pro výběr nejlepších obrázků

14denní hlasovací období. Výsledek hlasování bude vyhodnocen 15. den po nominaci.
Jsou vítány i nominace od anonymních příspěvatelů.
Příspěvky do diskuse od anonymních příspěvatelů jsou vítány.
Hlasy anonymních přispěvatelů se nepočítají.
Nominace se nepočítá jako hlasování. Podpora musí být výslovně vyjádřena.
Mějte na paměti, že Wikimedia Commons má sloužit jako centrální úložiště svobodných obrázků, které mohou být využity všemi projekty Wikimedia, včetně možných budoucích projektů. Nejde pouze o sbírku obrázků pro wikipedii, navržené obrázky by tedy neměly být posuzovány z hlediska jejich vhodnosti pro tento projekt.

Navržený obrázek bude zařazen na seznam nejlepších obrázků, pokud splní následující podmínky:

Odpovídající licence (to je samozřejmé)
Nejméně 5 hlasů na jeho podporu
Poměr hlasů pro/proti přinejmenším 2:1 (dvoutřetinová většina, tj. přinejmenším 67 % hlasů pro)

Kandidáti na vyřazení ze seznamu nejlepších obrázků

Požadavky na nejlepší obrázky se postupně vyvíjejí. Můžeme dojít k závěru, že některé obrázky, které byly původně "dost dobré", už nevyhovují současným požadavkům.

Zde můžete uvést obrázky, které si podle vás už nezaslouží patřit mezi nejlepší obrázky. Pro vyřazení je třeba 2/3 většina hlasů a minimálně 5 hlasů pro vyřazení. V opačném případě obrázek zůstane zařazen mezi nejlepšími obrázky. Hlasujte pomocí šablon {{Keep}} Keep (zasluhuje si i nadále být mezi nejlepšími obrázky) nebo {{Delist}} Delist (měl by být ze seznamu vyřazen). Uveďte prosím odkaz na původní nominaci mezi nejlepší obrázky (ta je uvedena na stránce s popiskem obrázku). Jinak platí stejná pravidla jako při hlasování o kandidátech na nejlepší obrázky.

Pro návrh obrázku na vyřazení ze seznamu nejlepších obrázků prosím použijte následující šablonu, kde v řádku za předdefinovaný zápis, za dvojtečku doplňte název obrázku nominovaného k vyřazení:

Nová stránka návrhu na vyřazení by měla obsahovat:

Informace o původu obrázku (autor, kdo jej náhrál, případně odkud byl obrázek převzat).
Odkaz na záznam nominace / hlasování (je uveden na stránce obrázku).
Důvod návrhu vyřazení.

Po tomto je nutno ručně vložit odkaz nahoru na stránku Commons:Featured picture candidates/removal.

Support Ocean-related photos are my Achilles’ heel. I spent time looking at this image, searching for some detail in the sky, in the water, or somewhere else that would make it special, but I couldn’t find one. Instead, I see a centered photo that feels monotonous from top to bottom. That said, the shadow makes me question how good this photo really is—not because of what it shows, but because of what it doesn’t show. Rhododendrites and others: Before this gets bogged down in a discussion about perspective correction, let me clarify this. The beams were not coming "straight down" when this photo was taken, they emanated from a point a little above the photo (you can extrapolate the rays). This was the most crazy aurora I've ever witnessed, with some features that don't occur during normal auroras. Like I stated on the file page, it was like standing under a dome of light, with rays coming from a center above me. That's why I could get photos like this where you can clearly see the point of origin of the aurora rays. We don't usually get that at my latitude. The normal thing is that it's centered above the north pole and the we get the aurora formation commonly called "the doughnut", a round "blob" circling the North Pole, and we see drapes.

But this night was different. When the front of the aurora passed over Russia, at least two vortexes were separated from the main doughnut. These resulted in smaller "domes" that stayed stable while they passed over Europe, but dissipated once the reached the Atlantic. You can see these vortexes in the satellite image from NASA. In that image, they are roughly over Saratov and Salavat in southern Russia. One of these vortexes passed over Lysekil where I was, and another one passed over Poland and Germany, giving both a very nice view of this aurora. Another crazy effect of these vortexes, was that when I aimed the camera to the north, where the aurora usually is, there was very little activity there. I even took som reference photos as proof: 1, 2; while facing south, the sky was literally on fire. It was a crazy night! --Cart (talk) 22:05, 1 June 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Support Careful restoration of the famous portrait of Martin Van Buren by Mathew Brady, from the original. Another version (black & white converted version) is already featured in the English wikipedia, but not in Commons. My proposal was done by hand only, with GIMP. Oppose A shame about the out of focus area in the bottom left corner, and in general I miss an outstanding composition. I often find this with ultra-wide panoramas - that they miss a clear composition and are instead just a wide frame showing a lot of...stuff. The picture is also clearly downsized, which was normal in 2007 when Diliff uploaded this because internet connections were not as fast then as they are now, but 2000px vertical resolution is a little low. Comment I agree that the church is beautiful and photographed well, but this picture taken by the same photographer on the same day looks more representative. In my opinion, a simpler composition with no disturbing elements, such as the people near the right edge and the large tree obscuring the western side of the church, is more compelling. I think both have their advantages but this one is the clearer FP to me. The other one doesn't show as many interesting features of the church, such as the dramatic western facade, and makes the whole building appear somewhat short and squat, whereas the picture I nominated has the church elevated at the top of the steps and lit with warmer light, which makes it look much more inspiring. I won't offer an alternative as I am not convinced the other is an FP but others are of course welcome to nominate it if they disagree with my appraisal. Info Made 500 years ago, colored in 19th century, as written on Wiki. I think middle line is just like that. Was there (in UZB) and said before, when you think on mistake you might be wrong. Thank you for your assessment, Cmao20, but I think the motivation for the vote is not based on the picture itselft. I just realised that when I went through all current FP candidates yesterday morning I opposed the 2 noms of Olfa Yakoubi because none of them convinced me in terms of level of detail. The first edit he/she did afterwards was coming here to oppose this candidate (and second oppose in his FP record, what are the odds?). Definitely unfair but nothing unusual. I can’t imagine that you would think my oppose is related to the fact that you opposed some pictures I nominated — especially since this not even mine photo. I always try to give my opinion based on the image itself and according to my understanding of FP criteria, even when my opinion may differ from others.

I still don’t like the composition of this photo. In my opinion, the framing is not ideal, the foreground elements are distracting, and the brightness and distortion affect the overall visual balance. That is why I opposed it, and I still stand by my opinion sincerely and in good faith.

What hurt me the most is the implication that my opinion was dishonest or motivated by personal feelings. I respect your work and your contributions a lot. In fact, I have supported some of your photos before, and there are also photos of yours that I personally don’t like but chose not to oppose because I respect different artistic views and standards.

By the way, we already met before — I don’t know if you remember — and I genuinely appreciate your photography overall. That is also why this statement was painful for me to read. Even when we disagree on a nomination, I believe we should assume good faith and respect each other’s opinions.

And honestly, after reading your comment, I no longer feel comfortable voting on your photos in the future if my opinions are going to be interpreted this way instead of being seen as sincere photographic criticism.

Support The way the chairs are cut off at the bottom is a bit annoying; I would have cut it at the level of the stairs, but that's more of a personal decision than a technically valid one. The chandelier also obstructs the view of the dome, but I understand it's a necessary sacrifice since it's not something that can be removed. Thank you for this nomination. I like the picture and it’s not strongly overexposed to the point of burning out the photo, but some areas could have more texture if they were slightly less bright. There’s a fine line between what is acceptable and what isn’t, so take this more as my personal opinion than as an absolute truth. In short, don’t take it too seriously. Support per Cmao20. “Best of Commons” does not mean “the best photos of each subject” – for that we have got VI –, it means “the best images on Commons”. If we have 10 great and wonderful photos of species A and only 1 mediocre photo of species B, we can feature all 10 great photos of species A, if they are really great and are sufficiently different (showing different aspects/perspectives/poses/subspecies/… of species A), but must not feature the mediocre photo of species B; the latter should become a VI for species B, of course. – Aristeas (talk) 10:14, 29 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Feather details appear a bit soft, but I guess we are spoiled a bit by the heavy AI sharpening many wildlife photographs use today and Tisha just did not apply such strong sharpening.
